I would absolutely HATE to see Duchene go before Roy (not that I think either will happen).

Let's say barrie wants, Lets say 6 plus per season, he won't move, do we a) trade at draft - if so for what ( I say him, our 1st for taylor hall, there 2nd and a prospect) b) chance it at arbitrary meeting, or c) sign him to it

I'm not saying it will happen... just looking to see what people think he is worth, what we should sign him for or what we could possibly get for him if it came to it

I agree with Coga, Patrick Roy is staying... and I think Roy does a good job with this young team. The Avalanche is on a good rebuilding mode. Success will come. People who expect more from this team, right now, are delusional. There are still a few holes to fill in their roster to make it happen.

Sign Barrie, him and EJ are the only two proven D we've got. Ya Barrie makes some iffy plays and we get scored on. Fact is you have to have a couple good offensive D men in this league anyways. I wouldn't want another offensive piece like Hall either at this point, are top 2 center should be good enough to make the players around them better.

I'm pretty biased, but I think this team is better than their record shows. I would move an early draft pick packaged with Mitchell or another depth piece for some D. Minny is going to have cap issues, go after some of their guys.

It's been pathetic. After the avs lost to the wild they just packed in their season. If they would have not given up and squeaked out a few wins we'd be right there with a game in hand. Roy needs to be fired but he won't be. I'd love for the blues to get bounced in the first round, fire hitch, and we scoop him up.

Yeah, I guess there's always a chance a team gets hot at the right time... I just don't see the Wild mustering up enough tenacity this season to pull it off. Never say never though I guess.
